Hemp has a phenomenal attraction to fish. No other particle is capable of what hemp can do underwater. When hemp is fed in large quantities, complete feeding orgies all too often occur! Many fishermen who fish on the reservoirs in France do not hesitate to feed 20 kilos of soaked/cooked hemp per day. They then use a high proportion of crushed or ground hemp in their boilie with which they fish over the hemp carpet.
