Wheat germ is rich in good proteins (30%), vitamins and minerals. A wonderful product, rich in fiber, which allows the bait to pass through the carp's intestinal tract faster. Wheat germ should be in every cold water bait. At high doses the boilies can swell slightly to larger diameters. Many fishermen use up to 20% wheat germ in their winter bait.
